Last weekend I went to the Christmas Market in Birmingham. A tradition started in Germany, its something that happens in England during the four weeks of Advent. We went at night, so it was a fantastic way to end the day. Lebkuchen- kinda like gingerbread (see the image of the cookies), chocolate covered marshmellows and of course mulled wine were the treats that evening. A nice way to get into the Christmas spirit...

wow! those are some serious cookies! I'm baking a bunch tonight to take with me to Peru, however, they most definitely, don't look like that! It's nice to get in the spirit
