It was a beautiful day, around 22 degrees. I was in the park reading and all of a sudden this brass band started playing from the bandstand! It was great. Showtunes, old movie scores and classics.

My first 99 of the season. I was so excited about it that it was not till this point of the cone I thought about taking a photo!

I love when you are in the right place at the right time for something like that. Sounds like a lovely afternoon. Performed music in public places adds so much charm.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I was thinking! And what a perfect time to bring a visitor along to see it all too- unfortunately I doubt this would happen mid week!
ReplyDeletelove a good 99! that's really all i have to say. oh ... and next time i visit, we're totally going to just hang out in the park by the gazebos - and in the fancy garden too!
